Environment

Over the centuries mankind has developed innovative ways of cleaning themselves and their treasured possessions.
From the use of pure running water to the inclusion of herbs and spices to the enrichment of natural oils.

Two features of mankind's inherent characteristics are his inquisitive nature and his desire to live communally.
In the early days this was certainly an advantage but today we are paying dearly for our love of communal living.

Invariably mankind has built his cities near waterways using the flow of water to carry away the waste and contamination that he and his families produced.
Coupled with this new sedimentary lifestyle and its developing problems was mans ability to create, and create he did producing quicker and stronger mixtures of chemicals to enhance his new lifestyle.

As time marched on our cities grew with man's technological advances; hydrocarbons and oil became an integral part of our existence.
With the introduction of oil into our society, and the many and varied chemicals developed relatively cheaply, from within this petrochemical industry, mankind was now creating a major problem for generations of the future.

Today we are able to see the results of our progress, we face a global pollution problem, and there is no where for us to hide. From the vast wilderness of the Sub Arctic, to the tropical jungles of Peru, contamination is there.

Where do we go from here?
There is only one way, that is to look carefully at the products that we all use on a daily basis and ask ourselves, "Is this product safe to use?" And more importantly, "Is it safe on the ecology of my environment?"

A product stating that it is Biodegradable is not enough, we must ask how quickly will the product biodegrade and what affects on the ecosystem during the products degradation.

Within our company we spend a great deal of time in the development of products that are not only user friendly but have minimal impact upon the environment and the delicate ecosystem. But we fully accept that even this is not enough, and we strive to produce safer products that are even more Eco-Friendly.

This is a battle in which every man woman and child must participate as the children of today are fighting for a better environment for their grandchildren of the future.
